The Philosophy Unit of the Athens Institute organizes its 21st Annual International Conference on Philosophy, 25-29 May 2026, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Humanities & Arts and the Athens Journal of Philosophy.
The aim of the conference is to bring together academics and researchers of philosophy. Areas of interest include (but are not confined to):
History of Philosophy, Ancient Philosophy, European Philosophy, African Philosophy, American Philosophy, Asian Philosophy, Political Philosophy, Moral Philosophy, Aesthetics, Logic, Existentialism, Analytic Philosophy and Pragmatism, Philosophy of Religion, Philosophy of Law, Philosophy of Mathematics and Physics, Philosophy of Biology, Philosophy of Action, Ethics, Epistemology.
Consistent with the theme of the Athens Institute’s small academic events, all programs may include a few sessions on current topics in education and research.
Please note that all our conferences are non-thematic as explained in our policy (click here). However, academic members and friends can take the lead to organize and chair a microsymposium as part of this conference. As part of the conference, we are planning to host visits to two of the most historic sites in the history of philosophy: Aristotle’s Lyceum and Plato’s Academy. Please, click here for more details about the visit to Aristotle’s Lyceum during the 20th Conference in 2025.

Abstracts should include the following: Title of Paper, Full Name (s), Affiliation, Current Position, an email address, and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of your submission. Decisions are reached within 4 weeks.
