The Civil Engineering Unit of the Athens Institute is organizing its 17th Annual International Conference on Civil Engineering, 21-26 June 2027, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Technology & Engineering.
The aim of the conference is to bring together academics and researchers of all areas of Civil Engineering other related areas. Areas of interest include (but are not confined to): Structural engineering; Construction engineering; Water resources engineering; Environmental engineering; Municipal or urban engineering; Urban Infrastructure; Transportation Engineering; Railway systems engineering; Forensic engineering; Geotechnical engineering; Surveying; Design Research considers the processes of shaping and making of places; Educational Research examines the pedagogies of civil engineering and related fields’ History of civil engineering.
Consistent with the theme of the Athens Institute’s small academic events, all programs may include a few sessions on current topics in education and research.
Please submit an abstract (email only) to: atiner@atiner.gr, using the abstract submission form by by 24 November 2026 to Dr. Dimitrios Goulias, Head, Civil Engineering Unit, Athens Institute and Associate Professor, Civil & Environmental Engineering Department, University of Maryland, USA. Abstracts should include the following: Title of Paper, Full Name (s), Affiliation, Current Position, an email address, and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of your submission. Decisions are reached within 4 weeks.
