Corporate citizenship and the company’s responsibilities in society and the environment have become central considerations amongst companies around the globe. A manifestation of this concern is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and related fields in business and ethics that include, for example, philanthropy, social investment or the creation of shared value. This stream aims to gather academics and researchers to discuss their work in the field and to consider the promise, success or failure of CSR and corporate citizenship in a global economy now characterised in part by greater consolidation and in part by fragmentation.
