Paper Submission to Athens Journal of Philosophy

1.      Papers must be submitted in English only, and sent by email only to philosophy-journal@atiner.gr. Papers should not exceed 5000 words. An abstract must be included, which should not exceed 300 words. Even though any format is accepted at the review process, the paper guidelines for final submission at the publication stage must be followed. These are set out at  http://www.atiner.gr/docs/Paper_Guidelines.htm. Only authors may submit papers.  Where co-authors are involved, the approval of all authors is required, as well as that of the relevant institutions. Only original research will be considered for publication.   Articles that have been published elsewhere or which are being currently considered for publication elsewhere, may not be submitted.

2.      There is a non-refunded submission fee of 300 euro to cover the administration costs of the paper review process. Authors are notified that the process is very competitive, and that less than 20% of papers considered, are finally accepted for publication. Thus, before submitting, make sure that your paper meets the academic standards of scholarly research. Please make sure that you have reviewed and cited the most important English references that relate to your research.

3.      ATINER does not require the transfer of any copyright, but permission must be asked if the paper is to be used for commercial purposes. The authors retain the full intellectual property rights of their paper and it can be used for any educational or research purpose without permission from ATINER.
