The Athens Institute is organizing its 18th Annual International Conference on Global Studies: Business, Economic, Political, Social, and Cultural Aspects, on 18 & 19 December 2024, in Athens, Greece. 50 academics and researchers from 17 different countries (Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Croatia, France, Georgia, Germany, India, Iraq, Italy, Norway, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Spain, UAE, and the USA) will present their work. The 23rd Conference of the Greek Regional Scientists Association took place on October 18-19, 2023, in Heraklion, Crete, and was hosted at the Hellenic Mediterranean University. Three of the conference sessions, organized by the Athens Institute, were conducted in English. In these English-language sessions, 15 presentations were given by professors and researchers from 10 countries (Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Türkiye, UAE and USA). The head of the Sociology Unit of the Athens Institute, Dr. Domenico Maddaloni, Professor at the University of Salerno in Italy, visited our offices from October 14 to 18, 2024, and met with the president of the Athens Institute, Dr. Gregory T.
