1 | Assessment of the Risk Associated to Natural Hazards: Probability-based Modeling in Single and Multi-risk Frameworks Academic Responsible: Dr. Yasser Hamdi, Researcher, Institute for Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety, France. The overall aim of the symposium is to bring together and promote interchanges between different communities of researchers, students, practitioners and stakeholders concerned in the following complex and inter-disciplinary topics: the characterization of natural hazards, development and improvement of single and multi-risk models and the characterization of weather, climate and hydro-meteorological hazards by considering climate variability and change. Papers describing and analyzing risk components (hazard, exposure and vulnerability), extremes of a wide range of geophysical variables (i.e. temperature, rainfall, flows, sea level, winds, surface ocean waves, snow) and works related to weather, climate and hydro-meteorological hazards (extreme temperatures, heat waves, droughts, floods, windstorms, etc.) are welcome. | Abstract Submitting Form |
