The Marketing Unit of the ATINER will hold A Panel on Customer Oriented Marketing Strategy in the Post-Modern Marketing Era with special reference to Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Relationship Marketing (RM) and Customer Knowledge Management (CKM) as part of the 15thAnnual International Conference on Marketing, 26-29 June 2017, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Business & Economics

In this current post-modern marketing era, customer orientation is gaining importance in today’s marketing world which gives rises to the customer centric marketing strategies. These customer centric marketing strategies are playing pivotal role and are being considered as future generations marketing strategies. Among these most dynamic and vibrant customer centric  marketing strategies Relationship Marketing with a recent development of Relational Quality (RQ), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and most recently with the massive deployment of Knowledge Management  (KM) in concepts and practices Customer Knowledge Management (CKM) have become  vital concepts and customer oriented strategic domains. This track/panel is going to focus on these most vital concepts of Customer Centric Marketing Strategies/ Concepts. The track/panel invites theoretical/conceptual papers, empirical papers as well as case studies/practitioner’s papers in these major customer centric marketing strategies which would generate very new, novel and interesting findings. This track/panel will also encourage some vital conceptual papers which would propose integrated and extensive conceptual framework and also papers that will determine how these concepts are actually working in practices and to what extent these concepts/strategies have become practically implementable in the industrial practice.

In general, the track/panel is encouraging submissions in the following domains but are not limited to:

  1. Conceptual/Theoretical studies in these customer centric areas.
  2. Conceptual/Theoretical studies that would propose an extensive integrated conceptual framework in any of these areas.
  3. Empirical studies in these areas in any geographical area/location or in any particular industry.
  4. Cross-cultural empirical studies in any of these strategic areas.
  5. Any interesting empirical studies in these areas through any innovative methodology.
  6. Any conceptual/empirical studies that would delineate any comparative discussions/analysis among these strategic concepts.
  7. Detail case studies from any organizational context/perspective that would discuss detail scenario of the practice of these/any of these concepts.
  8. Pragmatic studies that would attempt to ascertain the level of success of the implementation of these concepts (particularly in the area of RM or its specific domain-RQ as well as CRM as these concepts are already academically well established) in industrial practice.

Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise to selected Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a one-day visit to Delphi. The association was established in 1995 as an independent world association of Academics and Researchers. Its mission is to act as a forum where Academics and Researchers from all over the world can meet in Athens, in order to exchange ideas on their research, and to discuss future developments in their disciplines.

The organizing and hosting of International Conferences and Symposiums, the carrying out of Research, and the production of Publications are the basic activities of ATINER.  Since 1995, ATINER has organized more than 400 International Conferences and other events, and has published close to 200 books. In 2012, the Association launched a series of conference paper publications (click here), and at the beginning of 2014, it introduced its own series of Journals (click here).

Academically, the Association is organized into seven Divisions and 37 Units.  Each Unit organizes at least an Annual International Conference, and may also undertake various small and large research projects.
