Geography

The Athens Institute is organizing its 11^th Annual International Conference on Geography, 2-5 June 2025, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Sciences and the Athens Journal of Social Sciences.

The aim of the conference is to bring together academics and researchers from all areas of physical geography, human geography and other related disciplines.

Areas of interest include (but are not limited to): Bio-geography, Cartography, Climatology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geomorphology, Historical geography, Pedology, Transportation geography and Urban geography. You may participate as a stream leader, paper presenter, session chair or observer.

Consistent with the theme of the Athens Institute’s small academic events, all programs may include a few sessions on current topics in education and research.

Please submit an abstract (email only) to: atiner@atiner.gr, using the abstract submission form by 11 February 2025 to Dr. Gregory T. Papanikos, President, Athens Institute or Dr. Keshav Bhattarai, Academic Member, Athens Institute & Professor and Geography Program Coordinator, University of Central Missouri, USA. Abstracts should include the following: Title of Paper, Full Name (s), Affiliation, Current Position, an email address, and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of your submission. Decisions are reached within 4 weeks.
