The Environment Unit of the Athens Institute is organising the 21st Annual International Symposium on Environment, 13-17 July 2026, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Sciences the Athens Journal of Technology & Engineering.
The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars and students of environment from all disciplines such as engineering, biology, chemistry, geology, economics, geography, history, political science, communications, environmental health, environmental law & justice, government policy, etc.
You may participate as stream organizer, presenter of one paper, chair a session or observer. Consistent with the theme of the Athens Institute’s small academic events, all programs may include a few sessions on current topics in education and research.
Please note that all our conferences are non-thematic as explained in our policy (click here). However, academic members and friends can take the lead to organize and chair a stream as part of this conference. Please submit an abstract via email only (atiner@atiner.gr) by 9 December 2025 to: Dr. Nadhir Al-Ansari, Head, Environment Unit, Athens Institute & Professor, Lulea University of Technology, Sweden or Dr. Teodoro Georgiadis, Deputy Head, Environment Unit, Athens Institute & Senior Research Associate, Institute of Biometeorology-CNR, Italy. Abstracts should include: Title of Paper, Family Name (s), First Name (s), Institutional Affiliation, Current Position, an email address and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of the submission. Please use the abstract submitting form. Decisions are reached within 4 weeks.
