A Stream on “Factors that Drive Real Estate Markets”
as part of the 14th Annual International Symposium on Economic Theory, Policy & Applications
1-4 July 2019, Athens, Greece
Sponsored by the Athens Journal of Business & Economics
The Economics Unit of ATINER, will hold a Stream on “Factors that Drive Real Estate Markets”, 1-4 July 2019, Athens, Greece as part of the 14th Annual International Symposium on Economic Theory, Policy & Applications sponsored by the Athens Journal of Business & Economics.
The aim of the stream is to give an opportunity to participants to present their theoretical or empirical academic research on Real Estate Markets. Real estate represents a significant portion of most people’s wealth, and this is true as well for many homeowners in Greece. Papers should aim to engage with factors that drive real estate markets in Europe, among them demographic composition of a population, income, migration patterns, the interest rate, the overall health of the economy, government legislation etc.
You may participate as presenter of one paper, chair or/and organizer of a session, or observer.
Fee structure information is available on www.atiner.gr/fees.
Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A pragmatic symposium (as organized in Ancient Athens but fine tuned to synchronous ethics), a special one-day educational island tour, a Mycanae and island of Poros visit, an Athens educational walking tour, an one-day visit to Delphi and an ancient Corinth and Cape Sounion visit. Details of the social program are available here.
Please submit an abstract (email only) to: atiner@atiner.gr, using the abstract submission form to: Dr. Ben-David Nissim, Full Professor, The Economics and Management Department, The Max Stern Yezreel Valley College & Israel Gerontological Data Center, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Papanikos, President, ATINER (president@atiner.gr).
