The Center for Data Science and the Engineering & Architecture Division of ATINER will hold its 6th Annual International Conference on AI and Data Science, 30 June & 1-3 July 2025, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Technology & Engineering.
As the global societies evolve in the 4th Industrial Revolution, ‘data science’ is emerging as an essential research discipline for academicians and practitioners that transcends the mathematical, statistical, and computational sciences. Data science incorporates the studies of artificial intelligence, big data, data mining, data fusion, data quality management, etc. (‘Industrie 4.0.’), and is a shared belief for success in our global societies, business, and institutional sectors. Many have cited that only 10% of data science research by academia is assimilated by the private and institutional sectors.
The conference on ‘Data Science’ attempts to reduce this gap by organizing networking opportunities for researchers and practitioners by being a global leader in developing conferences, education, publications, and research on contemporary topics essential in sustaining the global economy and the environment. Research papers and presentations are sought in: artificial intelligence, big data, data mining, data fusion, data quality management, and predictive analytics, as applied to all disciplines in the institutional, service, and business sectors.
Selected papers from this conference will be considered in a Special Issue of the Athens Journal of Sciences. You may participate as stream leader, presenter of one paper, chair of a session or observer. Consistent with the theme of ATINER’s small academic events, all programs may include a few sessions on current topics in education and research.
Please submit an abstract (email only) to: atiner@atiner.gr, using the abstract submission form by 26 November 2024 to: Dr. Timothy M. Young, Director, Center for Data Science (CDS), Professor Emeritus and Interim Director, University of Tennessee, Data Science Institute for Machine Learning and AI, USA and Dr. Theodore Trafalis, Director, Engineering & Architecture Division, ATINER, Professor of Industrial & Systems Engineering and Director, Optimization & Intelligent Systems Laboratory, The University of Oklahoma, USA. Please include: Title of Paper, Full Name (s), Current Position, Institutional Affiliation, an email address and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of your submission. Decisions are reached within 4 weeks.
If you want to participate without presenting a paper, i.e. organize a special session, chair a session, review papers to be included in the conference proceedings or books, or any other contribution, please send an email to Dr. Gregory T. Papanikos, President, ATINER (president@atiner.gr).
