The Arts & Culture Unit of the Athens Institute is organizing its 16th Annual International Conference on Visual and Performing Arts, 9-12 June 2025, Athens, Greece sponsored by the Athens Journal of Humanities & Arts.
The aim of the conference is to bring together academics and researchers of visual and performing arts, and other related disciplines. You may participate as stream leader, presenter of one paper, chair of a session or observer. As is the case with the many small symposiums organized every week during the May-July period an effort is made to bring disciplines together such as Arts, Culture and Tourism.
Please note that in order to ensure the smooth flow and timely execution of the conference agenda, we are unable to accommodate any performances during the conference.
Please submit an abstract (email only) to: atiner@atiner.gr, using the abstract submission form by 18 February 2025 to: Dr. Ori Soltes, Head, Arts & Culture Unit, Athens Institute & Professor, Georgetown University, USA or to Dr. Eliza Gardiner, Deputy Head (Theatre), Arts & Culture Unit, Athens Institute & Professor, Vancouver Island University, Canada. Abstracts should include the following: Title of Paper, Full Name (s), Affiliation, Current Position, an email address, and at least 3 keywords that best describe the subject of your submission. Decisions are reached within 4 weeks.
Please note that all our conferences are non-thematic as explained in our policy (click here). However, academic members and friends can take the lead to organize and chair a stream as part of this conference. See below our members’ and friends’ small symposium proposals to be organized as part of this conference:
