|Who Should Attend|
The seven workshops on Democracy are open to all those who have an interest in democracy in the modern ecumenical world; particularly those who practice democracy at all levels of governments and associations. In particular, the symposium on democracy would of interest to:
- All citizens of the world who have a passion for the basic principles of democracy such as isegoria (freedom of speech), isonomy (law equality), isocracy (freedom to run for office), Isoteleia (fair taxation) and isopoliteia (international relations).
- All people who are active in implementing policies at all level of governments and activists who aim at shaping the change in policies.
- Academics and students who have a professional and an platonic interest in the theory and practice of democracy.
All attendees would receive an “Athenian Diploma in Democracy.
