The Diploma on Democracy is open to all those who have an interest in democracy in the modern ecumenical world; particularly those who practice democracy at all levels of governments and associations. In particular, the diploma on democracy would of interest to:

1. All citizens of the world who have a passion for the basic principles of democracy such as isegoria (freedom of speech), isonomy (law equality), isocracy (freedom to run for office), Isoteleia (fair taxation) and isopoliteia (international relations).
2. All people who are active in implementing policies at all level of governments and activists who aim at shaping the change in policies.
3. Academics and students who have a professional and an platonic interest in the theory and practice of democracy.

All attendees would receive an “Athenian Diploma in Democracy”.
