An academic discussion on the future of education and research
was held on Saturday, 11 July 2026, in downtown Athens

Our Annual International Conference, 6-11 July 2026, concluded today in downtown Athens with an informal academic discussion on the future of education and research.
The discussion brought together:

  • Elisa Seerig, Professor, Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS), Brazil
  • Marija Liudvika Drazdauskiene, Professor Emerita, WSB University, University Centre in Warsaw, Poland

The discussion provided an opportunity for a productive exchange of ideas on current developments in education, research innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration across institutions and countries.

The meeting was a truly multinational academic gathering, bringing together scholars and researchers from Greece, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Portugal, Brazil, and Poland, reflecting the international character of the Athens Institute and its commitment to fostering global academic exchange and collaboration.
