On Monday, 8 June 2026, during the 22nd Annual International Conference on Tourism, taking place in Athens, Greece, on 8-9 June 2026, Gregory T. Papanikos, President of the Athens Institute and Adjunct Professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA, had the opportunity to engage with conference participants in ongoing academic discussions during the breaks between sessions.
Among the participants, Dr. Papanikos held discussions with Dr. Ivanka Lulcheva, Head of the Department of Tourism and Associate Professor at the Agricultural University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria (photo on the left), and Dr. Nusara Sawangchai, Assistant Professor at Phuket Rajabhat University, Thailand (photo on the right).
