1995-2025: 30 Years of Bringing Academics and Scholars together in Athens
Collaboration between the Athens Institute and “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, Romania
The “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad boasts a rich history of educational development in Transylvania and Arad. The university’s roots trace back to the early 19th century with institutions such as the Preparandia (Teachers’ Training College) and the Clerical Theological Institute. Following various educational initiatives and the establishment of the Institute of Sub-Engineers in 1972, the university was officially founded in 1990, revitalizing the academic landscape of Arad after the events of December 1989. We look forward to a productive partnership that will enhance academic cooperation and innovation between our institutions.
