Social Program of the Conference

(Note: Please note that accompanying persons of the conference participants pay no registration fee and can participate to all social events paying only the cost of the event. Please note that our lunches and dinners are not a la carte).

20:30-22:30 Greek Night Entertainment (This is the official dinner of the conference).

Tickets cost 60 euro each. This event’s cost is not included as part of your registration fee. The dinner includes Mousaka (beef), Greek Salad, Tzatziki, Vegetables, Pasta and Dessert (karydopita–walnut pie). It includes 250ml wine per person or one soft drink. This is a private event organized by ATINER exclusively for conference participants and their accompanying persons.  It requires pre-booking. The event takes place on the 8th Floor of the Union Restaurant (a private hall booked for exclusive use by ATINER), 22 Massalias  Street, Kolonaki, Athens. The place offers panoramic view of the Acropolis Hill and the illuminated Parthenon. To see the view please click here. Free lessons of the basic steps of Greek dances will be given at the dinner hall an hour before the event. Please note that the dinner IS NOT a la carte and this includes drinks.  For any inquiry-including orders, please ask ATINER staff only, available during the event. Given the capacity of the hall, a strict priority will be kept on the first book first serve base.

17:30-20:30 Athens Sightseeing: Old and New-An Educational Urban Walk  

Tickets cost 50 euro each. The urban walk ticket is not included as part of your registration fee. It includes transportation costs and the cost to enter the Parthenon and the other monuments on the Acropolis Hill. The urban walk tour includes the broader area of Athens. Among other sites, it includes: Zappion, Syntagma Square, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Ancient Roman Agora and on Acropolis Hill: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion, and the Parthenon. The program of the tour may be adjusted, if there is a need beyond our control. This is a private event organized by ATINER exclusively for the conference participants. It requires pre-booking.
