Organizational Structure: Academic Village

Our vision for the Academic Village aims to establish a village to house university professors and researchers that reside outside Greece. The establishment of an Academic Village was decided during the 2005 General Assembly of the Institute. The general idea is to find a land that can accommodate a number of small academic houses (from 30 m² to 100 m²), a small conference center, lecture rooms and a number of other amenities (click here for a summary of the project). An area in the prefecture of Attica (such as the historical places of Marathon, Aulida etc) is the first choice of a site but other areas are explored.
